From production traces to behavior groups
Choose what you want to understand. Latitude finds the patterns in your production sessions.
1
Connect your production traces
Use the Latitude SDK or send traces through your existing OpenTelemetry pipeline.
2
Choose what you want to understand
Explore user goals, outcomes, friction, capability gaps, or ask your own question.
3
Discover behavior groups
Latitude groups sessions with similar behavior and updates each group as new production traffic arrives.
No taxonomy to define. No sessions to label manually.
Investigate every pattern
Each behavior group links back to the production sessions behind it.
Track how it changes. See whether a behavior is new, rising, steady, or fading over your selected time period.
See what happens within the group. Find common outcomes and moments such as resolution, escalation, abandonment, frustration, or repeated clarification.
Inspect the underlying sessions. Open any group to review its conversations, spans, tool calls, errors, and scores.

Example group — yours are discovered from your own sessions. Opening a session gives you its conversation, spans, and scores.

Built in the open
Behaviors is part of Latitude’s open-source platform. Inspect the implementation, self-host it, or connect through standard OpenTelemetry.
Search answers a question you already have. Behaviors tells you which questions to ask. Once you know, Topics is also available as a filter inside Search, so you can go back the other way and combine it with semantic and metadata filters.
Do I define the categories?
No, and you cannot. You define the question — "what was the user trying to do?" — and the groups are discovered from your sessions. If a question does not separate your traffic well, Latitude shows you that during the first pass, before the grouping is built, so you can refine the question rather than the results.
How fresh are the groups?
New sessions are routed into existing groups as they arrive. The tree itself is rebuilt roughly every six hours over the last seven days of sessions, so groups that stop happening fade out instead of lingering.
See what is happening across your production sessions
Connect your traces and let Latitude group them into the user goals, outcomes, and friction patterns hidden in your traffic.
